Although it's impossible to know what is going on in someone's interior world it does seem suspicious he would be suicidal.

I think the mystery is why would seemingly intelligent people with access to many means of sexual gratification choose to risk their lives by autoerotic choking? The orgasm can't be THAT spectacular- or , it's to die for, I guess.

Incidentally, there is a second puberty for men. It is known to be twice as tricky to navigate. They say a young man thinks of sex every 6 seconds while going through puberty. This essentially doubles at the second puberty at the known average of *72 years* of age..to thinking about sex once every 3 seconds. Grandpa Pervo is the norm, not the exception. The saying 'dirty old man' did not come about for no reason.

That crossed my mind too. I just tried chocking myself and I didn't feel anything except a lack of oxygen. Next, I pulled my pants down and tried it again. Again, gasping for breath. Nothing. That's as far as I'm going. And that's all I got to say about that.
