Dr. Kunchur's papers seem to have been buried under the weight of childish arguing in the other thread, so I will start a new one here.
FYI the original papers are Here
Here we measure the limits of human hearing and relate them to the neurophysiology of the auditory system. These experiments also help to define the criteria for perfect fidelity in a sound-reproduction system. Our recent behavioral studies on human subjects proved that humans can discern timing alterations on a 5 microsecond time scale, indicating that that digital sampling rates used in consumer audio are insufficient for fully preserving transparency.
I just spoke to Dr. Kunchur again, and he has appointed me to organize and relay the questions to him, and also to organize his answers, which I shall be posting on his behalf. He welcomes any questions, and is eager to participate. His work schedule is rather busy, but he wanted me to let everyone know that he will be responding soon.
He will let the questions accumulate for a few days, and then answer, due to his aforementioned busy schedule.
so please, ask away.
