Problems with the test:

- Quality of the headphones
- Quality of the headphone cable
- Quality of the source playback devices
- Unknown path from source to headphones (how many DACs, ADCs)
- Unknown frequency and bit rate of digital path (if any)
- Participants not completely isolated from one another

I'm sure you can all find many more problems with this comparative test.

Unfortunately, way too many people DO give a continental damn about these kinds of tests, which is why they bug the heck out of me. All it takes is one or two compromised components to completely demolish what might otherwise have been a valid point. And if the video is viewed by millions of people, that translates to millions of people who now believe the crap that's been spewed.

who gives a damn? since when did the mass market get anything right? it doesn't affect me nor my listening habits. i valued the video not for its tests..but for the comments from steve albini. i don't generally base my listening on any tests(nor alter what i listen to because of discovering test results)... take it for what it is, not what you wish it to be, jeesh..

I've been trying this link for over a day, and at best I get only the first half of the video. What happens in the second half?

I have yet to get the site above to load at all.

So what ever is it on about? I think a description is due, since it seems that it's a wee bit hard to know what the thread is even about otherwise.
