I have to agree. The corporation that owns this magazine has gone up to .18 cents from .11 cents in the last three weeks. BTW, where are my magazines? I have a multiple year subscription out there floating around somewhere in corporate America.
Nothing is happening...we are seeing a normal bear rise. The economy still sucks, the mortgage that was toxic last week is still toxic. Unemployment is still going up. Today we saw reaction to a change in mark to Market accounting that the markets like but that do not make a worthless asset any more valuable...we need 6 months of steady markets before we can say we have bottomed and I fear in six months the down side of all the new money printing will begin to become apparent...and unemployment will be a million higher.
Yeah, I saw today there was an "unexpected" rise in initial jobless claims to 669,000 in one week bringing the jobless to a 26 year high or over 5.8 million people on unemployment. That brings the last 10 weeks to record highs. Jobless claims going down is the signal we are looking for. Not normal rise and fall of a fragile market.
Listen to me. I'm getting too close to sounding like a liberal hoping each night to see news an IED killed American soldiers the next morning. Uh, wait-a-minute. That was during the last administration. Liberals are now "fanatically pro-American".
