The only think I know is they are based out of Franklin, TN.
No, these folk are out of Pensylvania.
I've heard the Emotiva RSP-1 preamp with the older RPA-1 (200 wpc @ 8 Ohms, 350 wpc @ 4 Ohms) power amp. The XPA-2 250 wpc @ 8 Ohms power amp is supposed to be much more robust than the RPA-1 as revealed by its 500 wpc @ 4 Ohms rating. It sounded to me like the Emotiva stuff is an incredible value. Auditions are hard to come by though as they are a direct marketer.
The sound from the one I hoked up was pretty impressive through a single monitor. I have a hodge-podge of old equiptment lying about and might take one of the long winters day to set everything up for a listen. I would be inerested in hearing the experience of ayone actualy having any of their gear. Again, I am very mpressed with the build quality and the flexibility of use for these.
