amp-preamp-source volume settings?

Have you reconfigured to Trends to work as a power amp? If so, the volume control is effectively removed from the circuit. If not... now might be a good time to do so. Check the manual.
I completely forgot about this when I added the pre-amp. Can failing to reconfigure make the system sound worse?
edit - And I keep calling 'Trends Audio' 'Trends Micro.' Too much time on the computer side of things, I guess.
Haha, its cool. I myself have a Trends. I don't think you can ruin anything, I just think it will degrade the signal a little. If you have a preamp, you only need to use the Trends as a power amp - the pot it has is a little week.
