I would like to suggest the "General Rants N' Raves" forum be divided in to the "General" and the "Rants N' Raves" category's, for obvious reasons.

Obviously, I would tend to agree, assuming, of course, "Rants" is left to those who in general wish to do only that.

My true intention is to establish a much needed "General" category.

My two cents on this: As a new user, I was initially surprised at how many categories there are on this forum (i.e., a lot). Of course, I'll let the those in charge make this decision, but for how active it is, I think adding another category would make it daunting and dilute the conversation. Relatively speaking, this isn't a terribly active board (although there are posts every day, so it is somewhat active).
