WHO???
Swirling sounds made with synthesizers and who knows what else. I swear the man will be the death of JGH yet!
Reminds me of that damn Corey Greenberg going on about that Soundgarden group he used to listen to.
Devils music I tell ya, devils music!

Reminded me of Harry Nilsson. But, right now, I am into the new Shelby Lynne CD, but this new LP is in my cart at Amazon. I had been wanting to buy some new vinyl anyway. time to expand my horizons.
Ahh, sounding like Nilsson wouldn't be so bad. I'll have to pull out "Nilsoon Smielsson" (sp?) to refresh my ears.
Dave
The track I listened to was UR Train on Leila. Not sure what the rest of the Album is about.
I won't let myself be dragged into the old fart categorey, but as a 40 year old, I can no longer count myself as a "kid" either. Anyway- I listened to the album via streaming MP3 (not good sound obviously) on her website just try it out and definitely enjoyed it. I will pick it up on vinyl for sure in the next month or so. I'm still working my way through the backlog of records I bought in NYC recently and even some of the stack from way back in New Orleans at the Jazz fest. It's a good problem to have really- too many records to listen to.
Thanks Dave.
I hope you guys like it as much as I do. If nothing else, I think you'll appreciate the great artwork and interesting combinations of sounds.
Jim: I actually had to google Harry Nilsson to align the name with his music. I do know the super-famous songs like "Without You" [oh man, great song! i can't liiiiiiiiive, if living is without you...] and "Everybody's Talkin'". Interesting comparison.
