yeah, a friend of mine has a set. they remind me of a very upgraded set of monsoon's that were all the rage until monsoon closed the doors a few years ago. i don't know if i'd want them as a room system but they were a killer computer audio system for nearfield listening. there is a used set available on audiogon for $500 right now.
I saw that set. It's ridiculous that the guy wants $500 for a used set when they're available new with an amp for $600. I might pick those up for my computer system.

Yup, they made the Monsoon drivers.
The Monsoons show up all the time on Ebay for 50-120 bucks.
I have a pair and love, l, o, v e, them.
Don't know how the '11 sounds, but John Marks writes very favorably about the LFT-16 in our October issue, which is just about to go to press.
