To the best of my knowledge, the original release of The Wall on CD is considered the best version. I have not heard the remaster, but if you peruse the discussion at the Steve Hoffman Forums, you will get that impression.
And no, The Wall has never made it to SACD or DVD-A, although it sits at the top of many "I want this in Hi-Rez" lists.
The original LP pressing is also held in high regard.

Just a note on the original issue of The Wall on CD. If memory serves me right, back in the day (80's), there was a problem with off center holes for this release. Not doubting Brian's claim, just be careful. I also, would love to see the entire Floyd catalog released in Hi-Rez. But for now, I just spin the vinyl.
I had not heard that, but certainly don't doubt that it could be true.
I have a CD purchased in the 80's and it has always played properly. I don't know if this link will work, but it is the result of a serach at SHF for "The Wall". Classify it under "more than you EVER wanted to know!" ;-)

Great reference, Brian.
The music sub forum there always amazes me. Lots of people that know astounding things.
Looks like there is a fresh Wall thread at Hoffmans, with mention of the MFSL edition.

I have a Japanese JVC super vinyl pressing of the wall.
It's Fewkin awesome, dudes.
