Some tonearms drift more than others. This shouldn't be a problem with the Rega. Check with your dealer and have them show you the amount of drift on their demo model. It's possible you might have incorrectly set the anti-skate too high but it would require a fair amount of misadjustment to cause more than a bit of drift. Remove all anti-skate from your adjustments and try again.

Hi, Maxim, welcome.

Some arms just piss ya off that way, even if your anti-skating is set right. On some arms, the cueing lift itself moves the arm.

There is something you can put on the lift mechanism...and I forgot what it is...that will keep the tonearm over the cue-spot better.

I'll try to remember and post again. Just wanted to post this to let you know, and see if it jogs anyone else's memory.
