I don't know if the receiver has an optical input, but it does have various inputs for computers (usb) and ipods.

This should leave you a little wiggle room for a good disc spinner, cables and interconnects or a subwoofer should you desire one. I think it would be a tough to beat combination for flexibility, sound and over-all compatibility for your tastes in music. Oh, Dup is just ragging on rap and hip-hop. This combination should do fine with electronic music and play way loud enough in your room.

That outlaw audio link didn't quite work, Monty. Looks like you have the link and the text portions reversed.

check out NAD for your integrated amp needs. they don't have optical input but they are well known for making affordable, quality products.
