Tough choice.
I can see why there's no choice for "1." After all, 1 is the loneliest number.
2 can be as bad as one, it's the loneliest number since the number 1.
But 3, who the Hell knows?
So, I chose 2, simply because it's a known commodity and 3 is not. "Better the devil you know," so to speak.
Oh, for the amps...all three will sound great. Look around and see which model sells for closest to its new price on the used market and buy that one. Then, when you change in the future, you'll have lost the least amount of value.
Welcome to the real world. We out here don't get to take multiple pieces of equipment that we can barely afford home and compare. At this level, reviews and dealer listening doesn't really help much.
I have the Krell 400xi and LOVE it! Don't know Focal speakers that well BTW. For me the 400xi is effortless, powerful, smooth and beautifully detailed in it's rendering of every genre I've thrown at it. Obviously it gets my vote. MF gear is good too fo course, but not as dynamic IMO.
