If your room is small, probably yes. I listen in a 12' x 15' room and my SPL meter tells me that I can enjoy most material at 88 dB. It takes about 1 watt to drive those Athenas to 92 dB at 1 meter.
It would actually take more power to get the same sound level out of the AS B1.2.
Why not build speakers your self?
