What is your budget and what are your listening preferences? A relatively low powered amp might suggest fairly efficient loudspeakers if your listening area is large.

Thanx for your post Jackfish, my second passion, after music is african ciclidea fish. Hahaha!
Like aquariums, I have an idea of what I whant. Sure, I'm not ready yet because of the cost. But patience is my one of my good quality. Everything come's in time...

I bought my Sugden amp 10 years ago. I have it, still in the box. Waiting for the moment. I feel that moment comes near. My budget? I will go get what I need... It's like one of my differents projets... For me, more speakers are expensive more time it's gonna take to get it. But I need to know how much it's gonna cost to know I long it's gonna take. Actualy, I'm totaly lost in the world of speakers.

I have a passion for the sound! I like the sound of tube amps. That's why I bought the Sugden.

I heard Totem stuff with Sugden but some of my buddies told me that it wasn't good for that amp. It was something like, my amp wasn't strong enought to drive those kind of speakers... And something about the bass... I'm talking about the Totem Model One. ( 3000 $ ) But I don't have that budget, that's the reason why the Sugden is still in the box. I'll like to get less expensive speakers. Used stuff maybe... How can I know what speakers to buy? Lets say... Not more than 1000 $

My listening area is very large. Madonna, Duran Duran to symphonic up to KISS and Metallica and OPUS recorded. stuff... I would like to drive good speakers for my baby Sugden!
I also like to ear '' Jazz at the pawnshop '' and '' Dark side of the moon '' Pink Floyd '' The Wall '' Led Zepplin. Beatles, Yes, Genesis, Supertramp, Def-Leppard...

As you can see, too many choices. Try to get out there and listen to as many as possible before you buy. Make sure your amp can handle a 4 Ohm load as some of these have 4 Ohm impedence. Good Luck!
