What a great product! I'm saving up for a turntable right now and won't be doing acoustic treatment for awhile, but those ceiling tiles would be perfect in the basement back home.

So, I just moved into my new apartment down at school, and I have a query:

Are you aware of any company selling unobtrusive and removable sound isolation material for ceilings and walls? The STC doesn't have to be huge, but it would be nice to have a more comfortable dB margin; Apartment-dwelling audio enthusiasts can make enemies quickly. It would have to be affordable, on the order of a couple hundred dollars. I would put in acoustic drywall, but I have no intention of taking on a project of that magnitude.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Sound isolation requires construction. Sadly, there's nothing (inexpensive) you can buy to attach to the walls or ceiling to reduce transmission through them.

Very cool find. My buddy is renovating his basement and was looking for something along these lines. Thanks for the review.
