Imagine, a discussion of breaking-in a component by an MSNBC columnist!

"Before I started my listening tests, Michael had a warning for me: "Plug in the units

21st century electronics(20th for PS1)...............if it has this kind of thermal instability, and some thing is changing over time would indicate to me. They are using some poor components, that have bad thermal stabilty, poor power supply regulation the unit is poorly designed that it suffers from instabilty. solid state electronics in the 21st century has some pretty stable components available. Or is there a special vacuum tube video games out now for those who can see/hear the difference How do modern airplanes stay up, if they where so unstable, they would be unable to navigate, etc. How do cars start, run in all kinds of temp extremes? Think how a GPS functions using modern components, in a car, hot, cold, humid, dry all extremes, yet it always knows down to a few feet, where I am. If a CD player is so unstable, it's defective. 21st century, things have improved over 1950's vacuum tube technology. Even in the land of audio. So now you say warm up your video games, they work better? Don't think so. Does your computer keybord need baking in, it will type better, clear if you use it after 3 days, not as soon as the computer is turned on? Voodo is still practied in Haiti, they have really progessed haven't they. chicken magic...I think I will start a new audio company called Chicken Magic Audio, there's VOODO in each product, that's what makes it sound better. And the stock audiophile answer is.......there is still so much in audio that is unmeasureable, that is auidble right? And yet somehow modern medical imaging equipment can see the smallest detail in a body, in real time, but audio is still just being unmeasurable.
