The article you directed everyone to alluded to a second article "The Expert Mind." If anyone can become an expert on any given topic what exactly happened to you Carl? What are you an expert at and what can explain your lack of expertise in things such basic things as social norms? You should be an expert on SOMETHING, given the fact that you have commented on nearly everything audio in the forums and the galleries. And please...others don't chime in with what Carl is an expert at, that would be cruel.

Not chess. Maybe listening to Chess Records....Great stuff from way back. Matter o' fact on Sirius 74 Blues, Marshall chess has his own show talkin' bout what he seen and heard as a kid growing up in the studio...meeting all the old greats...he has some storys to tell about the originals...now that's cool CHESS. I'm sure you are an expert, tell me, at what? I don't wanna be no stinkin' expert. That would mean I have to answer questions from those less fortunate. It's better to have no opinion, just say yes, i agree with everything you say, whatever you said about whatever you mean.
You're not an expert at anything Carl. Maybe you know something about concrete or driving a truck....
My expertise is in helping a fool such as yourself see the light so that you reduce the high-school grade rhetoric output so as to let other forum members enjoy the efforts and vision of the Stereophile organization. I know that last sentence got by you because you're a fool but I am not alone in this endeavor. There are many who would like you to quit posting.
That's FUNNY. Is it driving a concrete truck....? I wish they would let me, right now, I just fill the wheelbarrows at the back of the truck. they do let me hose off the chutes after we are done. I went to Chute Wash Univ. Checkout a House of Blues facilty, see how littel watts they use, it's not head banger music as you so ineptly think is all watts are used for. H.O.B in Chicago incredible sound system, crystal clear full SLAM IMPACT...and lotsa watts into lotsa lotsa hung speakers on either side of teh stge, it is Awesome....The designer just happened to get all kinds of industry accolades, about 2 months after I experienced teh place, and at teh time I mentioned to the people I was with, how good this place sounds, then 2 months later in a pro sound magazine, there it is, H.O.B. chicago writeup on teh sounds that are amazing, my ears work quite well, without the help of anyone telling me it sounds good or bad....I must be an expert. Time to study up on live sound, and trying to reproduce it at home. Watts, it does an ear good. It moves teh soul, it brings it all ALIVE.
