It's the ONLY way to listen. It is a BIg AUDIBLE improvement over teh entire range. As long as the speakers are up to it. More WATTS more WATTS, means more control, less work for each amp, do it!!! 4800+ watts nothing less.

I tried it last Christmas as a present to myself. I wasn't sure I was going to get any real improvement, but I had a store credit, and a christmas present comming and brought a Power Amp. I couldn't get the exact model that I already owned, but got a very similar hybrid via the same manufacturer and used it to drive the woofers.

Suprisingly, I heard quite a difference in sound quality. I hadn't noticed such a difference on my other system, a NAD C370 and NAD C270 when I bi-amped, but did when I Bridged those two amps funny enough.

However, though I was hoping for more bass,(the reason I went for a Power Amp to drive the 10 inch woofers in my speakers)I got more midrange and a closer view on the sound stage. The vocalists seems to have moved a foot or two closer on well recorded CDs. I actually noticed a bigger change at first to the mids and highs.

Until I put on some bass heavy Yello. Then I discovered at low levels far deeper and better controlled bass. I don't seem to have more bass at higher volume levels, just better control at low volume levels and better bass dynamics.

Oh, and I swapped my Power amps around too. Had my new Amp drive my midrange and ribbon tweeters. The new amp sounded WAY different than my old Amp. A lot drier in the midrange and highs. My origional amp I was using, sounded a lot sweeter and more rich. Especially on female vocals. I couldn't get used to the sound, until I switched the amps back. I was very surprised two amps by the same manufacturer, using very similar hybrid technology could sound so different. It was an ear opening to myself, ever the skeptic.

I hadn't noticed an improvement at all before as I said bi-amping with NAD C370 and C270's,(Though bridging and bi-wiring these amps makes a noticable and repeatable improvement) but with my current setup, it was very obvious change for the good to the sound.

i RUN MY AMPS IN MONO (4 OF EM) THIS THROUGH AN ava ULTRA PHASE INVRETERS. tHIS GIVES A3x OR MORE INCREASEE IN POWER, NOT JUST DOUBLE. It's that phase thang, it works, as i said, it's more bass control, not louder, but deeper more defined, everything else just opens up. No such thing as too many watts. No such thing as too many amps. There is no 10 Watt tube amp that costs some absurd amount that will ever sound live. No matter how many fancy full color ads are run. Doesn't matter if you have super effieicent speakers either, it takes WATTS. To sound REAL. Once you go Bi, or Bi X 2..you don't look back. Legacy HELIS is Quad amped!!! 1 built in sub amp at 750 W...and it takes 3 more amps per speaker for a total of 4 amps for each side, THAT'S sound reproduction....
