I take it you can hear the drive spinning etc.I can only think of 2 ways to silence it.You can have a custom made glass box-like thing with an open back for the cables with a removable front and top (both glued together of course for
convinience) or you can attch to the inside of the player soundproofing material.I am sure you can find thin one for the purpose.

Try a set of Vibrapods under the player.

Get a new player that don't have worn out bearings on the motor spinning the CD. How can you hear a Cd player spinning if the music is on anyway? do you listen with the volume OFF?

DUP plays music so loud that the CD transport could use straight cut gears like an old transmission and he wouldn't hear it.

I found the best sounding ones are driven off my Harley gear box, I of course use synthetic audio grade gear oil in the trans. 4th gear is sonic bliss. 1st gear changes the tempo too much.

Yeah, but if you have a Harley trans you must buy oil by the tanker load. I have some very good "audiophile" grade oil for sale. Only $2500 a pint. It's "guaranteed" to make your sound sysyem smoother!

You are completly misguided...this is 21st century, my bike doesn't leak, mis a beat been flawless, for all the years I've had it it's time to get over your misconceptions. You proably still think the U.S.S.R. exists? Or that Sony ever invented something.

My aren't we touchy! Can't take a joke when it hits home? I must have hit a nerve or something. You even spelled "teh" properly. FYI I ride an old Honda Interceptor 500. It has had a lot of work done to it. Showa Fork, Brembo brakes, aircraft hoses, 17 coats of Candy Midnight Blue/w Gold Flake, balanced/blueprinted engine etc. Do you shill for HD like you do for your other favorite posessions?
BTW if I was into that style of bike I'd buy a Buehl!

Exactly!!! It's Buell, ya big dummy. And you mock MY typos. You ride a Handa? I ride a Harvey Daroldson. And that ain't my boyfrined either so don't get no smart ideas. Homie don't go that way.

All right! I'll sell you, just you the oil for $1250. Your Hartley Donaldson can probably use it in large quantities.

Harley's don't leak oil; they are marking their territory.

All right, my final offer: $1000 a pint and I'll throw in a speacial 2 inch aplicator cable. The cable is usually a reasonable $1000 per inch. This cable is guaranteed to make the oil drip faster!
