I have no idea of any comparisons (since none were offered) but the combination with the Vandy 5s was one of the sweetest, most balanced sounds I heard at CES.

What are the intrinsic characteristics of the Vandy 5's? Warm? Lean? Spacious? I have a pair of Paradigm S8's (which I love, even when compared with $$$$$$ models) and I wonder if this amp will do them justice.

Anything as good as the Hybrids from AVA? AVA Ultra series of great stuff....for much less, and the beneifts of the same Cyro treatments of NATURAL MN chill. -17F recently.
