Why so few genres in the music forum?

I am listening now to Ojos de Brujo a Spanish Flamenco/HipHop group.
that's right, Flamenco/HipHop
There is obviously no place to post about this type of music. Stereophile has only 3 genres. why?

I am a professional classical musician but I listen to all good music regardless of genre.
Would you guys consider a "world music " or "other" category for the online music forum?

I was thinking the same thing. Reggae, Dub, electronica, IDM, EBM, Industrial, Free Jazz, Folk, Thrash, Country, Dance, World, Grime, Dubstep, Drone, Alternative, Trance, Bebop, Instrumental, movie score, Opera, Classical (chamber, period, composer, period), Avante-Garde, Noise, Field Recordings, Spoken Word, Audiobook, Hip Hop, Disco, Indie, Brass Bands, Live, Rap, Death Metal, Concert...list goes on and on.

There are probably 100 or more different genres, if one wants to get really specific.

Stereophile obviously chooses to use its limited space for those that are of interest to the most readers, such as classical and jazz, and generally, pop music. Maybe they need an "Other" category to encompass anything else of interest not otherwise covered.

I am sure that there are specialty music magazines for various special music interests.

Actually the 3rd category is rock, which is more limited than pop.

A category called "other" would probably do the trick.
