The downpayment for my first house was less than 1/2 this piece of wire. http://www.needledoctor.com/Tara-Labs-Th...amp;category=92

I can't help but wonder how the "anti-corrosion" coating affects the conductivity of the connectors.

Spending that much money on wire is an indicator only of the stupidity of the buyer.
There is NO rational reason for these prices, no way could the materials or design costs justify these retail costs.

this is the kind of nonsense that is killing the hi-end.

Yup. $22K for a friggin wire....yeah, riiiiight. Ya can wire a 6700sq foot houe for less than that!!! There is no way the prices are based on anything but some marketing ideas. All those differetn types, and they all claim some mystical superoroty curing a problem that doesn't exist. As dopey as a $5,000 bottle of old Scotch Whiskey. Set an absurd price, it'll sure appear to be special. If teh piece of wire could unwrap itself, find the correct connection point, connect itself, then it might be worth $500. at least you get a show A Garmin GPS Zumo 550 is now only $900 (up from $700), think about the development and research, and the technology, it talks, it knows where it is at all times, it has a terrific BRIGHT, super clear display, it shows all the roads, around teh one you are on!!!....a piece of WIRE....is not worth anywhere near these ridiculous prices. Wht nudnick buys this nonsense?

Wonder if they are RoHS complient? UL/ETL? KemaKuer,VDE, For that kind of money it better have every requirment for electrical products in the world!!! A $20 hair dryer has stickers and certs from around the world, look at the basic wall charger for some stuff, DIN,KemaKuer,VDE,DIN UL,ULc RoHS....do they need to be Demagnetized first with a Furutech, burned in with some magic CD burn in tones...at $22K...it should come with all those devices, cus' if those magic tweaks enhance the performance of a $22K piece of wire, They musta' missed something when they made it? What would sound better an EMMlabs $10K CD/SACD player for less than 1/2 the price, or 2 pieces of wire at $22k?
