TAS doesn't find them so good. USHER can't defy Physics either, small speakers that can't play very loud, no realism if they don't play at a live volume. I think they therefore are a COMPRIMISE. No amount of verbage change PHYSICS. Small speakers, small limited sound. bi Ampable, for a 7inch speaker? Huh? 7 inches just don't move air, simple, that's about a mid range speaker. Have you listened to a TRUE no comprimise system?

1) So, TAS is now a source for DUP's opinions on loudspeakers?

Yup, no need to listen, just go read TAS and your opinions can be served right up. You can bypass any and all actual listening.

2) All Hi Fi products are a compromise, my friend. Even your beloved Wurlitzer PA system playing Matt Oreo.

3) Not all listeners need 120 dB to replicate the sound of an amplified House of Blues assault on the senses.

4) I've heard them and I like them. They image well. For a person with a small room or who listens primarily to smaller scale music they are well worth their price. No need to fork out over 14K for an ear ringing assault on the tympanum.

Disclaimer: My "ignore" feature must have turned itself off while I was away, I'll go rectify that now.

Best wishes with the line, Mr. Scull, I'm a fan of the line.

TAS is as useable as StereoPhile, they also have magic wire ads, and voice their prefernces. Why is their's any less or more than StereoPhile? I was just COMENTING on what TAS wrote about the "no comprimise" stuff, from the writings sounds like VERY comprimised. 7" woofers? sounds very comprimised. I didn't say if they sounded good or bad, right, i didn't hear them, but they appear to be a COMPRIMISE. Words mean something, even in audio ads. But most of teh time not really in audio land. All speakers are NOT a comprimise. Mass fi is. I wish i had a Wurlitzer, they are worth money. What's wrong with a Wurlitzer anyway? Or Allen Organ? No longer involved with Legacy. PA speakers ain't finished like these works of art.

Go to Chicago H.O.B., LISTEN to a fabulous sound system, done right, not loud, not low, done well. Nothing like BIG stacks of speakers to move air with no distortion, and lotsa watts to do it. Unlike trying to do something with 30 W and a speaker too small for a car interior. Never listened to 120dB got up to 116db though. I think h.O.B. where either JBL or EV pro stuff, lining the sides floating up into the heavens, man do they sound GREAT!!! Live music done right. Try it, you'll lik eit. B.B. King, Matt Oree, John Meyer to name a few great performances. My ears do KNOW. That's why I find most wire nonsense amusing, and RETARDED that some can hear the wire.

DOPED> DUPED> DUP. Evolution in reverse?

No wonder DUP can't hear anything. AT 116db, it only takes approx 15-30 minutes for some permanent hearing damage to occur.
