Silverstone,i know the brand but never bought any.I have a few of the following and they're very good. elementcable.com
and myaudiocables.com
Thanks, let me look into those as well.
I auditioned 10' bi-wire Q10 between a Blue Circle BC22-II amp and PSB Stratus Gold-i speakers. I found the sound to be competent but slightly dry lacking richness and timbral nuance. I preferred my old school Prisma Cable 10 single run that are composed of 100s of strands of copper (a thick cable). That Prisma isn't perfect and I'm just about to audition a cable that I expect will substainially better it but its faults are not similar to those I've described for the Q10.
I've also tried a single run of T14 in the same setup and basically think these are very similar to the Q10. The difference of course is cost and where the T14 can be praised for what it does correct and forgiven for similar shortcomings such is harder to justify for the more expensive Q10 IMHO; akin to the T14 is the entry level Silver Sonic (aka BL1) interconnects, very good value for cost but not perfect and with similar shortcomings.
Personally I'd opt for the T14 cables over the Q10 and (if desired) later upgrade to something more capable.
