No need to use hands, metaphysical, just get yourself in teh correct frame of mind, and it works. Disruption of bad electrons needs lotsa' concentration to have it work. Concentrated 100 proof...then it all sounds bettter. ByBee or Quantum Physics, who moves bad electrons better? No such thing as a BAD electron, only misguided and sent down the wrong path, path insulated with PVC and the path of wrong wire twists. All electrons start out the same, inocent and good, the enviorment they are forced to flow in, corrupts them, puts them in a world of jumping, bending, skipping, being burped by Bybee, and disrupted by other devices. It's freezed dried lemon juice with a moist copper center sealed in a vacuum. Try the acid test. Take a zip-lock sandwich bag, fill it with a couple of tablespoons of lemonade powder, throw in a couple of wet "wheat" pennies and seal it with the least amount of air you can get out of the bag. Throw it on something and see what happens. Fortunately, I have a copper weather vane on my roof. Between rainfalls I just climb up there and pour lemon juice on it. It works for the entire house. BTW, the whole vacuum thing is there so they can put in the instructions that if you cut it open to see what makes it work you render it useless.

Doesn't sound like any of you actually tried these in your system. I have , and I'd like to compare notes with anyone who has.

And what did you discover? Let us know. This sounds interesting.......Do bad electrons cause compact fluresant lamps to produce light differently? Recently I was working on an image plate x-ray detector system using MO radiation, was getting some noise lines in teh read whenever I did a IP read, now this is without HV applied to the pre amp or the 2 photomultiplier tubes, after changing the CPU M board and A/D board and WIRES leading to the pre amp.....maybe I should be looking for BAD electrons? Somehow BAD ELECTRONS never are mentioned in any engineering documents..why in audio? Do BAD electrons only exist in teh bizzaro world of AUDIO? New series on Discovery Channel, The Hunt for Bad Electrons...sponsored by ByBee....

ned - I haven't tried them, but, your post prompted me to read some reviews online. I'm intrigued and would be interested in checking them out. I use Shakti products in my system to great effect. If these things outperform them, that would be impressive.

DUP - Admittedly, the explanation of why Bybee Quantum purifiers work is suspect, but, their benefits were audible enough that I switched from copper versions to silver ones in my DAC. It might be nice if you had hands on experience with products before trashing them. I understand why some members of this forum have you on "ignore".

Logic doesn't allow me to think half the nonsense is worthy. i never drank sewer water, but I heard it's not good....Do i need to try it to be sure? I never jumped off a building, but I've been told it is not a good idea, should i try it just to make sure it's really so. Electrical engineering and design work has been going on for decades, BS and snake oil too. With every new concpet and BS ad, do you try it all? Do you have every product from Sharper image and Ronco...? I'm sure all them gas saving products for cars really work also, all based on "science" and "research". sometimes instinct and logic, and previous schooling on subjects click in, so i don't have to "try" everything. Otherwise my house would be more cluttered than it is now, can you imagine what this closet would look like if I TRIED all the stuff advertised as changing it all for the better? So who's outlet sounds better, PS or Shunyata which one has teh magic plating and BS coatings? Come on, electrical concpts and design and engineering for products ain't being "fixed" with every new crap BS marketing ploy. How many AQ WIRES do you have then, they re invent wire every friggin month!!!

I read the same reviews and decided to demo these to cure the noticeable change in sound I experienced during daytime listening [DUP-that's called "bad electrons" in the powerline]. I do have a dedicated line and an Equi=Tech R1.5 to minimize all the crap that comes free through my household power panel from DWP.
I tried the small distruptors on my CD player, power supply for my MF tube interface and my s.s.amplifier but got no noticeable improvement. However on the Equi=Tech with the large transformer, I did notice a smoother sound all the time, after careful listening tests over 6 days. I have since returned the units but am considering buying the large one [@$170] just for this application.
BTW, I tried several Shakti stones 10 years ago and found these had negative effects on the sound-more closed in. So I was skeptical about these new devices.

ned - Thanks for sharing your firsthand experience. I've found the benefits of Shaktis to vary depending on the component and where it is placed. I was using one on the power supply of my DAC until I discovered a far greater improvement on the DAC itself. There have been times where I experienced the closed in sound you referred to -- it pays to be judicious with Shaktis. I've always worried that the haze they remove might be taking away some high frequencies, although I'm leaning towards thinking those highs might just be glare associated with distortion; I can definitely hear far deeper into recordings with a Shakti in place than without on the DAC.

At some point, I'd like to give these new things a try. The stuff about them being sealed to keep the goodies inside and working sound like nothing more than a feeble attempt to keep prying hands and eyes out. But, I'll leave it to someone else to hack one open on his own dime. I'd like to know more about how these work. I'd certainly want more than some beads wrapped in Stillpoint paper sealed in a box for my money.

DUP - Yes, it is wise to be selective. But, when someone comes into a forum asking if anyone has tried a product to get an opinion based on actually trying it, and you pop in with nothing to offer other than your usual rants (ad nauseam), it's not helpful and is really, really, annoying. I enjoyed meeting you, and want to like you because you seem like a pretty good egg, but, you make it tough sometimes.

If anyone has DUP on "ignore" than they are a pussy. That's bullshit. Who has DUP on ignore? Give us their names. BTW, nobody has any hands on experience with Legacy Whispers and we don't seem to have a problem trashing them when we feel like it.

170 U.S. Dollars for something scientific that you can't explain how it works? I mean, people here pay enormous amounts for stereo equipment but they can tell you how it works. They don't go out and waste their money on something they have no idea about what makes them tick. You're talking about something out of a Superman comic book unless you have something solid about it.

Haven't put in the 10ga yet, BUT there is now another 3 set of FURMAN PF conditioners in front of the other 3 Furman Sound units. It's basically a large AC capacitor across the line, to counter the 4 large transformers in the VANALSTINE amps. Ya' gots to test the Marantz PMD570, I've been playing with it, 1GB CF card, no moving parts, selectable record quality..MP3 BLOWS. High Quality setting works well. Marantz is selling it as teh replacement to the Philips compact Cassette..which has survived over 30 years. Now reduced to a 1/8 X 1" or so chip slick and getting slicker. No more idler wheels, belts to slip.....

It's the priest's fault, I am checking into REHAB, I'll resign, inapropriate "behavior". I'm checking into AudioAholics!!!!! HAHA, that's "the other guys". The priest made me listen to Jesus music on a BAD PA system when I was 12-14 years old. To know me is to love me, now get that priest away from me.

That's a tough one. Most song writers put that in when they can't think of anything else to add. Like this stupid topic of some fringe vegematic item by Ronco.
