question for JA

this is a followup post to a question you answered in critics' corner over on audio asylum. regarding the lack of followup to the pass xa160 review, you said that pass never sent a 2nd sample and you didn't followup either. is it usual that stereophile will ask for another sample in such cases or do you leave it up to the manufacturer?

Sometimes, things like this regrettably drop through the cracks, despite our best intentions.
