Size of room? Music you listen to? How many watts does the amp put out? Is the room dedicated for listening - said a different way - can the room be arranged to facilitate the speakers?

I take it you are biamping your current speakers?

If you are satisfied with the volume you are currently getting from your rig, your options are pretty wide open. However, if you are looking for a little more volume, you might want to consider going with speakers that have a higher sensitivity rating...say 90db or higher. Naturally, you would need the speakers to have dual binding posts to take advantage of biamping.

It would be helpful to know what you like about your current rig and what you think are areas that could be improved upon. What speakers are you currently using?

If you are simply looking for speaker recommendations that will work with your rig, I don't see anything that would preclude you from using about 90% of what is available, save for how loudly they will play.

For what it's worth, Proac speakers would be at or near the top of my list with that budget.
