CG hasn't written for Stereophile in years. He's really into shaving now:

Thanks!

I just wrote him and hope he responds.

His CURRENT shaveblog posting is VERY interesting... a shaving cartoon penned by none other than J. Gordon Holt, with an even MORE interesting story behind it. A must read for Stereophile buffs.
Yes, i got to chat with him about my new speakers ;-)
Corey Greenberg ROCKS! Come back Corey. I miss you!
I will always remember an article he wrote for Stereophile. In it he was bemoaning the fact that when certain friends came over to listen to his stereo they would get up and start dancing! Obviously enjoying the music too much to stay seated. Corey would start getting upset at them because they weren't sitting the sweet spot or hearing the extraordinarily wide soundstage of his expensive setup. Until the moment that he realized music reproduction isn't about all of that "audiophile" stuff. It's about that moment when you are transported out of your body and into the music. Whether your sitting in the sweet spot or dancing your keister off; it doesn't matter.
I also enjoyed his writing years ago for Stereophile, but, it seems in the intervening years, his integrity may have slipped:

He is really nice, he will come and visit me to hear the speakers ;-) Very nice fella!
Make sure to hide the silverware! JK.
I always liked Gordon Holt's drawrings. I remember one CES report he did with all drawings instead of photos, it was very charming.
