I took your poll. The question requiring me to rank, on a scale of 1 to 5, categories of usage is stupidly put. Your procedure requires me to put in a unique number for each category, while, in reality I use my system only for listening to music -- not for computers, not for home theater, not for anything else. To require your audience to assign a ranking for a category completely unused is, well, just stupid. That is the problem with polls. Cheers.

I apologize for Clifton.

He'll be happier when the market goes back up.

Actually, I got out of all my trading positions Tuesday and yesterday (I always keep a core position in gold and the miners that I don't trade). I even went modestly short, the gold miners via GDX (a Market Vectors index that tracks all the mining shares), and am showing a nice profit. I won't hold this one long, though, because I am long-term bullish on gold and the miners. My $SPX short from a couple months ago is doing spectacularly well -- up almost 20 grand. I intend to get long again around mid-August to mid-September -- the gold, that is. You better hope I'm right! The quality of the booze you get depends on it. If I'm wrong, you get Ripple. And it's STILL a stupid poll question. I liked another one, too: "What do you put on top of your speakers?" or some such. My floozy's butt, for leverage...could there be any other possibility?

And that ain't all............
The software kept on relooping through and asking the same questions over and over.

I think I'm stuck in a loop, the poll keeps asking the same questions over and over, and taking me to pages that are inappropriate. Like, for example, when it asked how I wake up in the morning, I selected "other" and entered "cat", but now it's taken me to a page of questions about table radios. I'm gonna bail.

I too bailed on your survey. Asking the same questions in different order just got on my nerves. What is it? Are you running some kind of test to see if we give the same answers all the time?

yea, we have been having problems with certain web browsers, thanks for the attempt. it is long, and some questions seem probing but it helps understand what is really going on with people and their product. everyone wants great sound. that is a given. but how do people actually use this stuff and why? there is this missing connection between product and user that could really innovate the way everyone interacts with their home audio. sound is omnipresent. it is no longer tailored to one area of the home, for one use. it's actually a pretty complex relationship.

thanks for the responses, though.
cheers.

Please! Asking the same questions repeatedly, in a different order is not probing just redundant and stupid.

Well, the construction of this post is consistent with the lack of logical structure in the survey.
