Personally I've got a rel strata III with my 805s.

I cant really comment on the velodyne kit, but with may hours of listening , moving around and know twiddling I have it almost intergrated. It sounds amazing, the sub pressurises the room and generates lots off non fluffy, non boomy bass when required. Everything remains in control so I'm happy.

Look elsewhere if you want slam, look at the rels if you want controlled bass.
