Yet another small piece of Jazzfan has died too. Sorry to hear such sad news.
I feel you. Here in Phila. WFLN (Classical) and WRTI (Jazz) combined their stations. We now get Classical music during the day and Jazz at night from the same station. I guess I can't complain too much. We do get Jazz half the time.

Check out this site for finding mucho streams of any type of music you want. This is the future if towns cannot support commercial radio. Broadcasting is changing as fast has our hobby and gear. Enjoy.

Thanks for the tip. You might want to try www.pandora.com . This is an internet project that trys to find and play music that you like and that may be new to you. You enter the name of a group, artist or song and it will try to play selections you might like. You can modify the search and tell it not to play certain selections. Check it out. It introduced me to Les Nubians. While they may not be your cup of tea they are certainly mine.
