Need a good New A/V reciever

I'm new to the home theatre area. I'm currently looking for a good A/V reciever for my 290 square foot living room. A guy at a home audio store showed me a Denon AVR 486S and he said it should do the job. I want something that I will be able to grow into and not be outdated and obsolite in minute I leave the show room. Thanks for any help.

Denon makes some good HT stuff. You could do a lot worse than Denon.

Outlaw products are getting excellent reviews. They are sold direct only, but that means you are cutting out all the middlemen and getting their products for about 1/2 the price of regular retail products.
