It is certainly as good as what comes as Std Eq. on most $500 TTs right now. Probably even better. With a decent phono stage this should bring you much vinyl pleasure. I think most serious audiophiles would think that high-end cart land probably starts at the $500 price point, but there are some bargains to be had for sure.
