You need to tell us what equipment you have and how it is interconnected.
Do you have a DVD-A player? If so, you simply select DVD-A as default on the setup menu and/or select the DVD-A track on the disc menu. Generally, you also need 6 analog cables to connect player to AVR.
But all that is general. What do you have?

I have a Denon 3910. I run a digital coax to my processor (Integra DTC 9.4). There are 5 analog outputs on the back of the 3910, but I thought those were for SACD? Also, I also have a Cal Audio Lab's CL 20 which I run to a Benchmark DAC 1. Thanks.

The 6 (not 5) analog outputs are also needed for DVD-A. You also need to tell the 3910 to default to DVD-A, not DVD-video for these discs.
Does the Integra have an IEE 1394 (iLink) input? If so, you can run ALL the audio formats from the player to it with this one link.

Thanks. The Integra does not have firewire. I am hoping this may be an upgrade in the future. I appreciate the help.
Is it possible to get a DVD-A signal from a coax connection or an AES? Thanks.
Only in downsampled stereo, not multichannel.
