What a surprise! This is the first time I have received the electronic edition before the print edition. Makes sense, though.

Thanks, Kal. We put some effort into getting it out earlier, and we're happy to know that it's working.
Hi,
Regarding the electronic edition, I really appreciate the idea and effort. However, do others find the quailty of the format questionable? You can not zoom into images at all without everything getting fuzzy. I assume this is a Zinio issue, but I was wondering if Stereophile know of any upcoming improvements?

I'll get in touch with Zinio to discuss this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
G_Man,
Would you please tell me what internet browser and version of Zinio you're using?
Thanks.
I use Zinio 3.6, and Firefox 1.5.0.1 as well as Internet Explorer 6.0.2 for browsers.
I find the same issues on my home laptop as I do at work (similar config however...).
Information on subscribing to the Zinio version of Stereophile.
Based upon the quality of the ToC in the sample, I wouldn't pay for it in this format.

The actual file looks much better than the sample you've described. The actual file also provides wonderfully useful links that will take you from the ToC right to specific pages and features.
It looks pretty good, however I like to read in my music room and often put down the magazine to listen. I shudder to read on a LCD screen or print it out.

Any response to this yet? I have contacted Zinio myself as well, but with over a week having passed, nothing. I am not looking for vector graphics or anything from Zinio/Stereophile, just quality that is on par with a half well done PDF document.
