I'm a big believer in cable/system interface and though I haven't heard those particular Nordost cables, I have used 2 of their other branded cables.

I know a guy who sells several brands and won't use anything but Nordost on his tube gear. In his words, "they just love each other to death."

I'm glad you like the improvement to your system. Now, just try to tell somebody that you can hear differences in wire. Careful, though, in some states all it takes is two family members to have you committed for psychiatric evaluation.

Well, I think we can find some common ground. I don't think YOU can hear the difference in superior cable either. Just think how much money you are saving with the zip stuff.

Naturally, anyone who can't hear any difference in sound between any two components can save a bunch of money buying the least expensive of the two.

Can you hear any difference between stereo and mono? Hey, there are a lot of speakers being sold by the unit as opposed to by the pair. You can save some serious dough there too.

I have had a harder time with hearing differences in speaker cable, but I have heard differences in interconnects. I think this is due to capacitance and the smaller signal voltages that interconnects must deal with. Again, if I don't hear it I don't buy it. You must have system resolving power to hear minute differences.
