I am using Paradigm Reference Studio 20's for surrounds and I'm very pleased with them. They should integrate into your existing system nicely IMHO and they're very reasonably priced in the context of your overall system. I believe that there's a review of the Studio 20's on the Stereophile website in the loudspeaker reviews section if you're looking for some reading on different options.
Best of luck!
I second Twynns suggestion for the Studio 20's. To the best of my knowledge the higher end Paradigm line is sold by an exclusive dealer network, and usually always at manufacturers suggested retail. If possible, I would do business with whomever your husband acquired his current speakers from. Don't be afraid to ask for a discount as a loyal repeat customer. At the same time, don't be shocked if the answer is NO! LOL.
Your husband is a lucky man!

I was able to get the Studio 20 V.3's for a reasonable price (i.e. below mfr's suggested retail list price) from a dealer near me so certainly don't be afraid to ask the question! And, I agree, your husband is a lucky fellow!
