As you know, but let me remind, the 360 is a 3-way with a dedicated midrange driver, unlike the 150 or 250. This would be my first comparison priority as I feel the 360 does a much better job in that oh so important range of musical reproduction. You should have no problem taming the bass in your room. Best tweak for that is retrofitting the stock plastic feet with speaker spikes. This cleans up the bottom end dramatically, removing almost all of the midbass ripeness and bottom end boom. Further control can be obtained with placement adjustment from the wall behind the speakers.

Thanks RG. I got the 360, and put in 3 teak footers each side for ease of balance. Experimenting with positioning now.

I'm also looking at a tube amp setup to replace my NAD320BEE. Since the bass/mid bass is pretty strong, I would think a SET Class A 2A3 setup will do nicely?

I'm looking to replace my NAD 320BEE for this speaker. I'm not sure solid-state or tube.

I got an offer of a yamaha MX-2, any experience/feedback on this setup or others?
