The subject of blind testing is a hot one. We love the enthusiasm and passion the topic evokes, but let's keep discussions of blind testing to their own threads.

Any posting that demands proof for their opinions on sound quality, whether that proof be in the form of questions about blind testing or ABX testing, etc, is inappropriate and will be deleted. If anyone wishes to discuss blind tests then they are welcome to do so in specific threads about that subject.

All opinions on sound quality - whether they come from someone completely new to our hobby or from someone with many years of experience - are welcomed and encouraged. With this in mind, we'd like to see our community, hobby, and passion grow. Have fun.

In the last several years, I have seen a good many discussions of DBT methodology and results on the net. I think that those who defend same should not have to put up with misrepresentations and ad hominems such as the following:

--You're calling me a liar when you dare to question that I heard what I did.

--You think everything sounds the same.

--Just because you can't hear it doesn't mean no one can hear it. (The context is usually whether anyone can prove they hear the DUT or PUT.)

--You must be deaf.

--Your equipment must not be resolving enough. (Again, the context is usually whether anyone has been able to prove they hear the DUT or PUT.)

How about it?
