Oh dear... Over a hundred views and no responses.
Perhaps I should repharase my question: Has anyone had experience with a Benchmark DAC-1 and the Musical Fidelity X-10v3 tube output buffer stage together?
Would really appreciate any kind of response to the matter. It also helps make my thread look less hopeless!
I assume your definition of 'refined treble' means a less grainy or less edgy treble. Either way, it's one of the things I'm looking for in my next DAC! Thanks a lot for the reply!
Yes it does (that "anonymous" was me - now registered!). I would also add that the treble is better integrated spatially with the rest of the soundstage.
