PBN's Sammy Speaker

San-Diego-based PBN is best-known for its heroically proportioned loudspeakers, but PBN's Peter Noerbaek introduced his new Sammy loudspeaker at THE Show, which, as you can see from the photo, is a little more manageable in size. The 55"-tall Sammy uses premium Scanspeak drive-units in an unusually constructed cabinet (see next photo): a new, long-travel 10” Revelator woofer, a wide-range, 4” Illuminator midrange unit, and the Danish company's new pressure-formed beryllium-dome tweeter. Price will be $29,500/pair.

Am I correctly seeing that the faceplate of that amp at Peter's feet is an American flag? I bet those amps play "Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood really well.

Or at least "Proud To Be An American" by The Tubes.

It is indeed Old Glory adorning the faceplates on the Olympia AX amplifiers we displayed at THE Show.Springsteen's "Born in the USA" also goes well :-)

If they sound anything like the PBN speakers ( I'm not sure what model they were but they were around 20k and i think third from top of the line ) I heard at a local dealer they should sound fantastic. I'd never heard PBN speakers before but was bowled over at how good they were
