I am not up to speed on anything Blu-Ray. Is this new drive format going to be the be all, end all drive we will eventually inside all CD and DVD players? As Charles Hansen said on his C5-XE, his drive considerations were based on continued manufacturing of the one he chose for the forseeable future and replacement parts support. Once the Phillips CDM 12 drive went out of production, Creek ceased production of one nice CD player. Did I not read that Sony is not going to be making drives any more as well?
