B.R. Myers also has a provocative piece in the current (Sept. 07) Atlantic on the failure of gourmets to "think in moral terms."Now you've got me trying to track down an excellent piece I read in The Atlantic several years ago about the unnecessary ubiquity of music in our lives (probably not a subject likely to win fans among Stereophiles!).

I would bet most Stereophile readers think music is important enough to pay attention to, so we're probably with Myers on that count.
