Radio Happy Hour, the radio show not on the radio, is a live variety show featuring made-for-radio murder mystery sitcom, guest stars, musical performances, an audience quiz, and interviews.
The show returns to its New York City home, Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleeker Street), on Saturday, May 8, at 2pm, and sounds promising with indie-folk rocker David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid and the Whale), and comedian Max Silvestri. Tickets are just $10; $12, on the day of the show. All shows are podcast online following the live performance. Past episodes, featuring Norah Jones, Andrew W.K., The Hold Steady, Tunde Adebimpe of TV On The Radio, Jolie Holland, and others, are available from the Radio Happy Hour website.
