So check this out: We've created this survey where you can give your opinions on Sterephile's cover options, topics you'd like for us to tackle, and whatever else we can do to get you more interested in the magazine. I mean, seriously, dudes, I'd love for you to go to the magazine store over there in Newport, or that one over there on 14th Street, or the one by Bryant Park, or wherever, and pick up a copy of Stereophile just the way you would Domino or The Economist or Elle Decoration or Us Weekly.
(Don't get all excited; we're not going to run covers of pop stars snorting ugly babies up their noses. But still, come on. Surveys are fun. I know you love them.)
So, take a little time and be a part of this magazine with me. I opined for more white space on our covers and more music reviews in our pages. And more women. I mean, for reals: we need more women involved in this. The fact that we don't have a single female writer is, I think, a crying shame.

I will certainly complete the survey as Stereophile is one of my favorite magazines. I've said it in other posts, but the quality of the writing is what I look forward to most. That said, the biggest improvement that the magazine could make is to expand the music reviews section. Would any of us care about the equipment if there was no music to listen to? Help me to find new, interesting, well-recorded music! The equipment is a means to the end.
Perhaps you remember me from my Chilltown magazine and Jersey City blogging days. I have enjoyed your writing ever since meeting you, but thought Stereophile would be over my head. Recently, though, I've been taking guitar lessons and want to learn more about music production, so I'll pick up this month's issue, and will complete the survey.
