Congrats to SonicFlare

Speaking of fun, please be sure to visit the redesigned SonicFlare. I met SonicFlare's Josh Ray at CES a couple of years back and I was impressed by his enthusiasm and energy. The dude exists to share the magic of hi-fi. The updated SonicFlare offers entertaining and informative articles on how to make sense of measurements, how to pimp your system, and how to use your speakers to get laid. They've even come up with a new way of describing the various sonic characteristics of components and systems. The "Sonic Circle" breaks hi-fi down into three major categories (Precise, Emotional, and Refined) and three related sub-categories (Vivid, Intense, and Smooth).

SonicFlare's goal is to expose hi-fi to a larger audience. I support Josh Ray and his growing team of writers. Good luck, Josh, and congrats!

And Josh is really good at it, I welcome him back too. Long live Hi-Fi 2.0!

Hey Stephen, thanks for the shout out! The response to the new content has been really interesting. It's abundantly clear there are people who want to appeal to the next-gen and those who want to keep hi-fi exclusive. Thanks for supporting SonicFlare's mission to expand hi-fi!

I Second SM's comments here - Josh is a real asset to audiophiledom - we need more like him!

I'm a 28 year old who banks her future on the next-gen discovering a passion for hi-fi and supports any effort (within reason, of course)to educate. What am I going to do in 20 years if they don't?And Stephen, can you ensure that I get included in CES 2008s boothbabe coverage? Jeez.

>And Stephen, can you ensure that I get included in CES 2008s boothbabe coverage? Jeez.Totally. I was scared that you were going to ask me if I could ensure that your loudspeakers got you... um, you know, too.

Hi Jaclyn, what's your stake in the hi-fi revolution? And Stephen, it just struck me that right about now we would've been preparing for China Misadventure 07. Something about spending the better part of the holiday season eating wok fried reindeer just doesn't sit well. Maybe next year...

Josh- I'm one of Richard Vandersteen's daughters and also an employee of his company, Vandersteen Audio. My father's been designing and manufacturing speakers since 1977, just a year before I was born, and I've worked at the factory since I was old enough to push a broom around the woodshop. Thank god I'm not doing that anymore!Stephen-Now that made me laugh! And I needed a laugh, so thanks!

Now that you mention it...hmm. That sounds like an excellent idea! Nevermind my first reaction, I'm actually deeply offended by your comment.
