the electronic version has always been at least over a week late.

My apologies for this. We send Zinio (an independent company) a CD-R with the issue's contents after signing off on the final proofs from the printer, which is about 3 weeks before that issue goes in the mail. However, it appears to take Zinio longer to prepare the electronic version than it does the printer to print and distribute the paper version. My regrets for not being able to do anything about this.

If you ask me, it should be rather embarassing to Zinio that you can push paper copies out the door and through the US Mail system faster than they can e-distribute.

Might also be worth mentioning to them that their delay is being discussed on a public forum and it's not swaying anyone, me in particular, into ordering your magazine through them.
