with all due respect to Ms. Boyle, i hope that after singing for the queen mum that she can go back to singing in her church and her simple life without the machine grinding her up. if she wanted a career, i could see her doing voice-overs in movies with music that use actresses that can't sing; animation voice-overs. hell, she could release a music album. none of these require pictures. while God may have missed hitting the "pretty" button when he was selecting his options for her, he sure made up for it in the voice department. it was great to see simon get the smug wiped off of his face for a change. a real underdog story.
