I just figured out how to give folks stars. I like Ergonot's position in life. So I gave him a star. Where's my crime? My post was factually correct. Whatever that means. Sooner or later, an extra 1000 regulars will start showing up here. Whatta ya gonna do then?

If you wish me to strike out in kind, then read this part:

I should expect such from someone who has a personal Icon that you do, from "Team America'.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the other hand, that would be a lie, I laughed my ass off when I saw that film. I does not stand repeated viewings, IMHO, but it's funny as hell the first time around. I took it for what it was, and laid no judgment at the feet of the creators of the film.
You figured out how to give out stars but now you need to figure out what the "Re: Jan Vigne" signifies on my post header. "Factually correct", can't be an oxymoron.
First of all, no one asked for your opinion in this matter.
Secondly, in my opinion you should mind your own business.
Didn't your mother teach you any manners? If you don't care for what I post, stay away from me. That's was always the suggestion when dealing with dup.
Even if we COULD shit ice cream, it'd be hard to explain the kernels of corn.
I am minding my own business. You posted something as a means for response. If it's too hot stay out of the kitchen. Little baby. You need some other engineer's sugar tit to suck on? Like I stated, and I'll state again, you should have went down the drain with the rest of the so-called shit.
What's this "we" shit? My response was directly at Miss Vigne. So, even if "she" did shit ice cream only an engineer could explain the corn?
There you go again JV, Telling people what they have the right to post.
You should have been banned instead of DUP.
Re: Who here is REALLY an engineer
I'm confused ...
Surely Public forums ARE for everyones opinion
and if you post in a public forum it IS everyone's business
because you are inviting everyone's opinion.
...or do I need to take a Post Grad in how to post in forumz?
Look guys -- does it really cosmically matter.
KBK jumped on my controversial bit at the end of my offering from my poor penmanship (or keyboardship - whatever) --- do i care? ...Nooooooo cos in all honesty he has a point - though some (like me) feel that sound scientific principles are a strong basis to take the next inventive step.
But at the end of the day its good that we discuss the dichotomies
Ergonaut summed up participation in a public forum nicely.
So now can we now get back to the intent of this thread?
Re: Who here is REALLY an engineer?
Elk- I agree heartily! This school-boy name calling and constant fishing for a ways to feel insulted is ridiculous for a bunch of supposedly grown men! Get over yourselves and stop making every thread an opportunity for a pissing contest. It's about having a conversation- if you can't disagree without losing your cool and name calling then you need to find another outlet. Maybe rugby?
Re: Who here is REALLY an engineer
Miss Vigne has found herself in the dubious position of no matter what answer she gives in this thread it will be wrong and she may get beat harder. And that is all I got to state about that. The rest of us ladies can carry on.
Corn kernels would be a tough enough sell for this method of vending ice cream, but asshole frostbite would probably kill the deal.
Now then - where were in this threadie ?
Ahhh yes
I just wish to take up a point and echoing what I think WTL was making earlier... with a saying of mine...
"Education and learning is not the exclusive domain of those with degrees".
Erm ....*cough* ....erm I think she is a he -- erm ...I'm guessing here but I think the name is the "Male" Jan (pronounced "Yan" as in Jan Hammer - the Scandinavian Jan) not the other one as in Jan (pronounced "Jan" - short for Janice)
just a guess... I may be wrong.... has been known.
I think the illustrious Mr. Lamont was referring to JV's behavioural charecteristics ie,
"behaves like a girl"
Close! I started off simple. Then I painted myself into a corner, like I always do. Then it starts to sound like a rant, which is never my intent. I try to tiptoe out of the corner...and knock the walls down by accident. Typical.
I 'tend' to give people the benefit of the doubt in their posts, for we only understand about 12% of what people are saying to us-in person, the rest gets lost.
Methinks the internet is gonna fare far worse. Just a hunch.
When I'm ranting it's pretty obvious. You tend to take step back from your monitor to gain some space.
I hope we never know. I enjoy the mystery.
